A veritable superstar in the outdoor world, Michael Waddell combines hunting expertise with an easy-going personality. While Michael continues to be one of the most successful hunters in the outdoor entertainment industry, he maintains a rare sense of humility, knowing that it was only a few years ago he was a country boy from Georgia. In his late teens, he began to enter turkey-calling competitions. What started out as a hobby turned into notoriety as he began to win contest after contest. Soon, he was offered a position with Realtree and began to work production on their hunting videos. After developing the idea for a new hunting show that was just about as much about the lifestyle behind hunting as it was about the sport itself, Michael became the star of Realtree Road Trips and has become one of the biggest stars in the industry. He also hosts Gander Mountain’s We Live Outdoors.
