The Sea to Summit Pocket shower ($25, REI.com) is a lightweight, waterproof stuff sack with a nozzle. In your pack, use it as a normal stuff sack to keep clothes or a sleeping bag dry. (MCT)

(MCT) - The dynamic of backpacking has always been a battle between what you want and what you're willing to carry. Sure, a warm shower on a long trip would be nice, but standard car camping "sun showers" have always been too bulky. Enter this stealthy pocket shower. It's a lightweight, waterproof stuff sack with a nozzle. In your pack, use it as a normal stuff sack to keep clothes or a sleeping bag dry. In camp, fill it with up to 10 liters of water, set it in the sun to warm, use it to get yourself wet. Since it weighs less than 5 ounces, there is no reason to leave it at home.

- Price: $25

- Where to get it: REI.com

- Bonus: Comes with long cord for easy hanging.

- Bummer: Good luck finding a place to hang it on your favorite desert trip.
