Off-Road Action Television captures man and machine against North America’s toughest terrain.  Whether it’s muscling the trails in Moab in a lifted Jeep, or catapulting a Protruck through the Nevada desert, this 13-week series on Outdoor Channel is non-stop excitement.

Each episode features a mix of various types of events, machines and venues; providing motorsport and outdoor enthusiasts a satisfying variety of destinations, competitors and action.  Shot on location across the U.S. and Mexico using multiple cameras, Off-Road Action Television captures all the visceral tire-spinning, body-bashing action from wheel stands to rollovers, with plenty of on-board POV shots that put the viewer in the driver’s seat.  

Episode 2008-01: Mud Racing, Hollister MX, CORR Championship, W.E.Rock Grand Nationals
High horsepower, high-flying mud trucks at the Mud Bash in Smoke Run, PA.  Vintage motorcycles live again at the Hollister, CA vintage MX races.  We travel to Crandon, Wisconsin for Championship Off Road Racing’s richest event, the Borg Warner Cup.  Also, high drama at the rock crawling national championships in Columbus, Ohio.

Episode 2008-02: 100 Mile Elsinore Grand Prix, Extreme Rhino Racing, 4 Wheel Jamboree Mud Drags, Short Track Endurance Truck Racing
Actor and bike enthusiast Steve McQueen made Elsinore famous in the film “On Any Sunday.”  Decades after his death, the Mushman 100 lives on in his memory. Elsinore, CA hosts this endurance motorcycle race that brings out the characters!  Then, they call it UTV Cross and it has struck the west coast like a California wildfire.  These glorified Rhinos run the MX tracks wide-open!  We travel to Lima, Ohio’s 4-Wheel Jamboree, where there is something for everybody, including high horsepower mud drags!  Then, a young rookie takes on the local veterans at Eastern Illinois’ low buck endurance truck racing championship!

Episode 2008-03: Swamp Buggies, Ice Trucks & Motorcycles, Rock Racing, Camp Jeep
From South Florida to the frigid North, this episode has it all.  It’s a Naples, FL tradition!  Paddle wheel tires and blown and stroked big blocks, race in all of 4 feet of water!  We’re talkin’ swamp buggy racing!  Then, those in the Snow Belt don’t park their toys for the winter; they screw on studs and hit the lake!  We’ll travel to Georgetown, CO for ice truck racing, then to Wisconsin for motorcycle racing in sub zero temps.  You gotta see it to believe it.  Plus full throttle rock racing from Hot Springs, AK and Jeepers and their families nationwide gather at Road America for Camp Jeep!

Episode 2008-04: Ball of Steel Stunt Show, Flat Track Racing, Rock Crawling World Championships, Baja legend Ivan “The Ironman” Stewart
Rocks, desert, and Harleys dominate as Off-Road Action Television puts you behind the wheel and handlebars at some of the most extreme events on the planet!  He was the first to win the Baja 1000 solo!  We’ll profile Ivan “The Ironman” Stewart as he gives our cameras an exclusive tour of his custom shop.  Then, the high horsepower bikes take over Del Mar’s thoroughbred course for exciting flat track racing.  Plus, we’ll meet one dad and three sons who love to risk it all in their Ball of Steel Stunt Show!  And the 8000-mile journey to Vegas for the W.E.Rock world championships didn’t make these Australians jet-lagged.  They were ready to take on the yanks!
 
Episode 2008-05: Big Foot, CORR’s Carl Renezeder, Top Shop Challenge, The Hammer Trails in California.
We’ll profile Big Foot founder Bob Chandler, travel to Hannibal, MO for the first ever Top Shop Challenge, in the pits with CORR Pro 4 champ Carl Renezeder, and go to Johnson Valley, CA for a bone crushing trail ride on the Hammer Trails.

Episode 2008-06: Eliminator hill of gravel, Moab Jeep Safari, Baja dune MX riding, Glen Helen Truck Racing Challenge.
Gravelrama is where the ultimate 300 foot hill climb is – and we’ll take you there.  South of the border is the place for $12 lobster, and the most awesome motorcycle dune riding anywhere.  Plus thousands of Jeep owners take to the slick rock at Moab’s Jeep Safari.

Episode 2008-07: Diesel Tractor Pulls, Speedway Racing and Side Car, Tucson Trail Days, Best in the Desert Staats Family.
The DHRA is full of burning tires and black smoke and the most powerful diesel trucks anywhere.  Left turns only plus no brakes can only mean one thing – Speedway!  We’ll go to Arizona’s toughest trails, and profile a desert racing family who loves the feel of sand in their teeth!

Episode 2008-08: New Mexico Trail Riding, CORR’s Mr. Dirt, Rookie Casey Currie, LA’s Mud Mom, and desert racing legend Rod Hall.
We hit the trails at Choke Cherry Canyon in New Mexico and the body damage that comes with it!  When CORR drivers have trouble with the course they blame Mr. Dirt, Mud Racing Louisiana style with Sheri Richardson, plus Pro Lite driver Casey Currie and desert legend Rod Hall.

Episode 2008-09: King of the Hammer Trails Competition, Low Buck Tuff Truck Racing, US World Trials from Minnesota
Desert racing meets rock crawling in the Mojave desert during the King of the Hammers competition, Roger Cardot pilots his Bubba Bronco at the 4 Wheel Jamboree, and up-close and personal in the Minnesota woods during the US portion of the World Motorcycle Trials.

Episode 2008-10: Two-Wheel Snow Scrambles, Motorcycle Demolition Derby, Ryan Capes Stunt Jumper, South Dakota Trail Riding at the Dakota Territory Challenge
Frozen trails, spiked tires and full throttle action from the Snow Scrambles from Upstate New York, Daytona Bike Week’s craziest event – the Motorcycle Demo Derby and Stunt Show.   Ryan Capes attempts a world record jump in Las Vegas, and we travel to the Black Hills of SD for the Territory Crawl Challenge.
 
Episode 2008-11: UROC Jellico, TN, 4 Stroke Motorcycle Nationals, Holy Cross City Trail Riding in Colorado, WEROC Stock Mods from Las Vegas.
Mother Nature wins at the United Rock Crawling Challenge in Jellico, Tennessee, 4 strokes motorcycles rule at their nationals competition, trail riding at 11 thousand feet in Colorado, plus high drama at the stock mod world nationals.

Episode 2008-12: Rock Racing in Colorado, Moab’s toughest trails, Monster Truck Freestyle, and Waterproofing your Mud Truck
Full-throttle action from Colorado’s XRRA competition.  “Spike” and “The Avenger” are Monster Truck’s underdogs when it comes to freestyle, Potato Salad Hill, Moab Rim, Hell’s Revenge – just a few trails we visit in Moab, Utah, plus unique ways mud racers keep their motors dry and comfy.

Episode 2008-13: Jeremy McGrath Desert Racer, Class 1 Unlimited Truggy Tech, Nighttime Motorcycle Ice Racing, Trophy Karts.
Jeremy McGrath puts away two wheels for 4-wheel drive when he gets behind the wheel of a CORR truck.  Wisconsin Ice Racing at night on motorcycles, Laughlin Desert Challenge Class 1 racing in Wayne Lugo’s quarter million dollar truggy, and Riley Herbst is only 8 years old, but he could be the future of desert racing.  We’ll watch him race his trophy kart.
