Santa And His Machine Guns
Santa and friends rang in holiday season with military-style firerams
This holiday season, Santa really got into the Second Amendment spirit, and took some less-than-traditional holiday photographs at the Scottsdale Gun Club.
Posing with a myriad of pistols, semi-automatic and automatic weapons, locals and gun-enthusiasts from afar gathered in Scottsdale at the Scottsdale Gun Club to take photos with their military-style favorite guns and Ol' Saint Nick.

For 5 hours, patrons could get a holiday picture with Santa and his machine guns, and received a print and a digital copy of their photo. While this event hasn't been going on for long at the gun club - this year was only the second year that the SCG set up this Santa event - this "Santa and Machine Guns" story definitely caught on full steam this year. Katie Perrine, Marketing Specialist at the SCG, said that over 100 news affiliates picked up the story, and that people from New York state and even Ireland heard about the story and flew to Scottsdale just to take part.
Each gun available for pictures was unloaded, fully cleaned, and had the firing pins removed for safety. The photo-op cost $5 for SCG members and $10 for non-members, and hundreds of people waited in line for the chance to pose with Santa and the machine guns. Nothing says Merry Christmas like Jolly Ol' Saint Nick and a few of his favorite guns!
