Goey Hunting Calls

Goey Hunting Calls
Goey Hunting Calls

We’ve had Goey Hunting calls on our lanyards for a few years now, and this past duck season they debuted two new duck calls that are definitely worth bringing to your attention. These two new mallard duck calls are a part of their “Swamp Series.” Their first masterpiece was the “Swamp Laundry,” an acrylic mallard duck call, like all of their calls, 100% made in the U.S.A. The second is the “step-mother-hen” of the Swamp Laundry, the molded “Swamp Sister.”

The “Swamp Laundry” is one downright raunchy duck summoning, double reeded machine. We’ve field tested it on several hunts ranging from the Prairie Pothole Region to the Mississippi Delta and have had extraordinary results. You can get absolutely everything you want out of the “Swamp Laundry” from duck turning hails to finishing quacks and feeding calls. Everyone we’ve handed one of these calls to either tried to steal it or asked us where they can get one after running it. Even the folks dead set on running single reeds have given it a try and the look on their face says it all. Priced right in line with their acrylic competitors and the household names at $109, the “Swamp Laundry” is definitely a beak turning call.

Just when we thought Goey Hunting Calls couldn’t possibly impress us any more, along came the “Swamp Sister,” a molded version of their acrylic “Swamp Laundry.” The sound coming out of this thing is amazing. You may lose a little volume in the molded version, but you gain some serious versatility. The “Swamp Sister” hails, greets and feeds like the “Swamp Laundry” but we’ve actually found it to whine and squeal like nothing else out there. The way you can plead at those ducks and mimic the sounds of a duck with a mouth full of food is undoubtedly deadly. Walking up to a hunter at the boat ramp, with a lanyard full of acrylics, and letting them run the “Swamp Sister” has been the ultimate testament to this call. When an “acrylic snob” pulls another brand’s acrylic off their lanyard to make room for the “Swamp Sister” that speaks volumes. Maybe you’ve seen some of our hunts on TV, or heard Goey Calls being used in commercials, or on social media, but hadn’t quite been convinced to drop a Ben Franklin on a call. Well here lies the most economical opportunity to put a Goey call on your lanyard with hands down, a $100 call in a $30 package.

To be completely transparent, yes, they sponsor one of our television shows, but we don’t put our name behind anything that we don’t believe in whole heartedly. We’ve been singing their praises since long before our partnership. If you want an unbiased testimony, ask the guides of Coteau View Hunts and Kennels, Tallahatchie Hunts or Scott Robinson’s Waterfowl Specialists. They don’t get any kickbacks whatsoever, and when their livelihoods depend on putting clients on ducks, they’ve got Goey Hunting Calls on their lanyards as well.
