Bear and Pork Meatloaf Recipe

Bear Meatloaf Recipe


  • 1/2 cup red pepper
  • Minced 1/2 cup onion
  • Chopped 1/2 cup carrots
  • Chopped 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup bacon chopped raw
  • 1/ 1/2 pounds bear hamburger
  • 1/4 pound ground pork
  • Salt & pepper to taste


In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients and then form the bear-pork mixture into a sprayed or oiled meat loaf pan. Bake at 350°F in a barbecue, over indirect heat, for about 1 hour or until meat is firm and reaches an internal temperature of 150°F. Let rest 10 minutes and then slice and serve. Serves 4-6
