Venison Sirloin Steak (Recipe)

  • 2 1lb. Venison steaks
  • 2 tbsp. cracked black pepper
  • ¼ cup Gewurztraminer or late harvest wine
  • 1 tsp. Olive oil
  • 6-7 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 pinch kosher or sea salt
  • 1 dash Parsley

In a medium frying pan, add olive oil pepper and meat at high heat, turning periodically until oil is almost absorbed, add wine and mushrooms and reduce heat to half, and cover until meat is done rare to rare medium. Plate the meat and pour the wine combination over the meat and serve with pilaf and vegetables and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Serves two.
