ONE Prime Debut
MEMPHIS, Mich. - G5 Outdoors and Prime Bows is proud to announce that this past weekend at the 2014 National Outdoor Field Championships (NFAA) was the debut tournament for two of the new members on the Prime Team. Kris Schaff and Paul Tedford, two of the “Montana Boys,” drove into Yankton, South Dakota, each with a Prime One in hand and made it one to remember. Kris clinched the second-place spot with a score of 1,292. Paul fought very hard in a tight competition for the fifth-place position with a score of 1,276.
The skill and determination of these two professional archers made sure the Prime bowline had two spots in the top five of the Pro Male Freestyle division. Long time pro, Dave Cousins, rounded out the trio with a respectable 11th-place finish and a score of 1,268 in an event where small points made a big difference. Together Dave, Kris, and Paul demonstrated why three is a Prime number.
The event may have been a late one in the competitive archery season, but it is only the beginning for the partnership with Kris, Paul, and Prime bows. All three have their sights set on great things to come both nationally and domestically. Kris, who at 21 is already a very accomplished professional archer with wins at the NFAA Louisville and Redding tournaments, has his goal of making the USA Archery Team. Paul, at 26 has been to archery tournaments the world over with many top five finishes and is looking forward to his chance to improve on his stellar performance at the European Archery Festival. Both archers, while normally competing against the other, have demonstrated a quality support for the other.
G5 Outdoors and Prime bows are very excited to have both Kris and Paul on the team. Their professionalism and determination make them a perfect fit with the company. We are only more than happy to help Kris and Paul on their journeys and support them both in taking their archery skills and accomplishments to the next level. A big Prime time congrats and official welcome to the team Paul and Kris! We are very excited to have each of you with us.
