Beat the egg yolks until light yellow in color. Add the vanilla, powdered sugar and allspice. Beat until very stiff.
In another bowl, beat egg whites until very stiff (like for angel food cake) and add to the egg yolk mixture. Beat mixture adding more powdered sugar (1/4 to 1/2 cup) until batter is very stiff. Chill mixture overnight.
When ready to serve, put a pot of water on and bring to a boil. Pour 1 ounce (according to taste) of brandy or whiskey and 1/2 ounce rum in a coffee mug and fill 3/4 full of hot water. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of Tom and Jerry mix on top and stir. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
