Kay Miculek was born into a shooting sports family as her father was a renowned gunsmith and world class Bullseye shooter. The majority of Kay's time is now spent both at matches and also as the head instructor of Babes with Bullets™ shooting camps for women. She has a long list of national and world championship titles in pistol, rifle and shotgun.

Kay has a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Husbandry, married (Jerry Miculek) with three children and one grandchild. She resides in Princeton, LA, where her family continues to operate a large shooting range . According to Michael Bane, host of Shooting Gallery on the Outdoor Channel and expert Steel Challenge observer, "Kay is the most accomplished woman shooter in the world having won numerous regional, national and world titles in several shooting disciplines. She has won the Steel Challenge an amazing six times and now holds all eight women's world records.”

Lisa and Kay have been close friends for many years, dating back into the 1980’s. Deb Ferns, Babes with Bullets camp director, came to the first ladies camp at Kay’s range in April 2004 as Lisa’s guest after they met at a USPSA match in 2003. Since 2004 all three women have been traveling throughout the US jointly hosting Babes with Bullets™ programs.
