Laura Schara is unique to the outdoor television world as she combines her deep-rooted outdoor heritage with her years of fashion experience spent as fashion trend expert for Macy’s. She can easily transition from talking fashion, home and lifestyle trends to exploring the great outdoors: hunting, fishing and cooking wild game.
She is the host of the much-anticipated television show Survival Science scheduled to air on the Outdoor Channel Summer 2017. Laura currently appears on Fox Sports Network Due North Outdoors and also co-hosts MN Bound on KARE 11. One of her passions is wild game cooking as she hosts a segment called “Wild in the Kitchen” creating delicious field to fork recipes.
She has been featured on NBC Sports, HSN, Evine Live, The Bethenny Show, Style network’s Dress My Nest as well as Hallmark’s Channel’s Home and Family Show. Additionally, she has been featured in Life & Style Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine and People Magazine.
Being a fitness fanatic, she also appears weekly on Life Time Fitness TV.
Laura just launched her blog Wildly Living by Laura Schara which celebrates all things outdoors including fashion, home décor, fitness fun, outdoor adventures and wild game cooking.
Some of her favorite adventures include sporting clays, turkey hunting, upland bird hunting and muskie fishing. Her greatest catch to date is a 46” inch muskie caught and released in her home state of Minnesota.
