Rock started his Law Enforcement Tactical experience in 1984 on the US Army's SRT team. Over the next 30 years his career in Tactical Operations included 20+ years on a full time civilian Police SWAT Team, and working and instructing in Close Protection and Tactical OPs, in Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, as well as a veteran of the Gulf War. Presently, Rock is the Fort Bragg US Army's SRT Commander, a full time Tactical team which just won the 2012 North Carolina SWAT Team competition.
Rock's tenure in Tactical Operations placed him in many life threatening situations. In one incident, a bullet fired at close range deflected off his kelvar helmet during a high risk entry, this earned him the prestigious International Chief's of Police Kelvar Survivor's award.
Rock's Career and commitment to the team has the support of his fiance and his four boys, ages 14, 12, and the twins age 9.
Rock is proud of service to country, a tradition the Rockwell family has had serving in the US military which goes all the way back to the Revoluntary War.
When not kitted up, Rock spends the time in the fitness arena, His dedication to fitness has earned him numerous awards and records from Bodybulding, Powerlifting as well as several Gold medals in the "Toughest Cop Alive" competitions. Even at 50, he continues his warrior mindset, by always be prepared, as he tells his team, "Train Hard, for an Easy Day."
