Lewis and Clark's Girandoni Air Rifle from NRA Museum

This 22-shot repeating air rifle is a reproduction of the Girandoni Air Gun used on the Lewis & Clark Expedition. It is a butt reservoir piece with a bore size of .462 caliber. Bartolomeo Girandoni supplied similar pieces to the Austrian army circa 1780.
