Visitors to Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park will have the chance to learn the skill of shooting a bow and arrow through the Recreation 101 Beginning Archery Program, offered on Tuesday, July 26, and Tuesday, August 2. Both programs will begin at 7 p.m.
Led by park interpreter Bob Wild, this beginner archery program will introduce participants to the basics of archery target shooting. Archery equipment for most ages and abilities will be available for use during the free, one-hour program. Participants should meet at the park's winter recreation area middle parking lot.
