With the rut starting, Lee Lakosky only wanted to trick or treat in the woods wearing camo. Tiffany had other ideas.
“It’s Halloween, and those boys are going to dress up,” she said.
“There’s some battles you fight, and some just aren’t worth it,” Lee said.
The deer would have to wait as the Lakoskys hosted the first annual Crush Halloween party at the homestead in Salem, Iowa.
Even Lee admitted it was fun. Where else could he talk hunting with Woody and Buzz?
“We have to wear stupid costumes, but it’s still serious farm talk and hunting talk,” he said.
